• Home Access & Security Data: Keys, lock box codes, door or alarm codes, gate codes, and any information needed to access your home. This data is treated with the highest level of care (see Section 3).
• Payment Information: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or banking details on our own systems.
• Communications: Text messages, emails, service notes, and records of communications between you and our team.
• Website Data: When you visit our website, we may collect cookies, IP address, browser type, and pages visited (see Section 7).

1. Schedule, confirm, and deliver cleaning services

3. Home Access & Security Information

Because we enter your home, we handle physical security data that requires extra care. Please read this section carefully.

In order to provide cleaning services, we may collect and store sensitive home access information, including:

1. Physical keys or key copies
2. Lock box codes or door lock combinations
3. Alarm system codes and instructions
4. Gate codes or building entry procedures

This information is used solely to access your home on scheduled service days. We protect it by:

1. Restricting access to only the specific cleaning professional(s) assigned to your home
2. Storing access information only within secured, password-protected systems
3. Training all team members on confidentiality requirements

When you cancel or terminate services with Clear Lake Maids, upon your written request we will:

1. Return or destroy any physical keys within 5 business days
2. Permanently delete digital access codes and entry instructions from our records

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the trusted service providers listed below, and only to the extent necessary to operate our business:

5. Marketing Communications & Your Consent

Service Messages

We will contact you by text or email for appointment reminders, confirmations, rescheduling notices, and other communications directly related to your service. These messages are necessary to deliver your service and are not marketing.

We may occasionally send marketing texts or emails about seasonal promotions, new services, or company news. You provide consent to receive these when you book our services. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see opt-out instructions below).

Text Message Disclosure (TCPA)

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your service schedule and preferences.

To opt out of marketing texts, reply STOP to any marketing message. To opt out of marketing emails, click “Unsubscribe” in any email or contact us at hello@clearlakemaids.com.

Opting out of marketing messages will not affect your service reminders or confirmations.

Your information is stored securely within our booking platform (ConvertLabs) and payment processor (Stripe). We protect your data through:

1. Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) on all systems
2. PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processing via Stripe
3. Role-based access controls — only authorized team members can view client records
4. Password-protected accounts with access limited by job function

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident, consistent with applicable law.

Note: No digital system is completely secure. While we take every reasonable precaution, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
